Hydroelectric Power Plant Construction

Power plant construction has a long tradition at the Engineering Group. The construction, expansion, and renovation of hydropower plants are part of our core business, as are the planning and realization of renovation measures in accordance with the revised Water Protection Act.

Interdisciplinary teamwork is one of our strengths. Thanks to our experience and expertise in the disciplines of hydraulics, geotechnics, underground engineering, construction, and civil engineering, we can develop technically robust yet creative and resource-saving solutions and systems together with the client. The expertise of our specialists in the fields of electromechanics, hydraulic steelwork, and control technology allows us to offer you plant construction from a single source.

We handle all phases of the project, from design, project planning, and realization to commissioning, monitoring, and maintenance. Operational aspects in particular are already taken into account during the early planning phase so that the best possible functioning of the always unique type of plant - from small hydropower plants to large power plant complexes and from high-pressure to low-pressure plants - is ensured over the entire service life.
