Uri celebrates the opening of the WOV!
It's been 40 years since the last new road was built in Uri - now the WOV is open!
With the west-east link (WOV), the canton of Uri has gained a central piece of the puzzle in its overall transport concept. The 1.3 kilometre-long road relieves the village centres of through traffic, creates more space for people and even opens up a new recreational area with the Schächenwald forest.
We were able to take on the implementation planning and construction management of the new west-east bridge, which forms the centrepiece of the WOV. It makes us proud to contribute to a project that is shaping the future of Uri and directly benefiting the people.
