For the renovation of the Gelmer pressure shaft at Kraftwerke Oberhasli (KWO), the first pipe elements were flown to the new installation platform on Lake Gelmer using a Super Puma helicopter. This was a spectacular operation in an alpine environment, requiring precision and teamwork.
