Description
In the Upper Valais, DANET AG is responsible for the planning, construction and later the operation and maintenance of the fibre optic network owned by the municipalities. To this end, DANET AG works in particular with the regional energy supply companies. In Brig this is EnBAG AG. Swisscom (Schweiz) AG acts as a cooperation partner in the construction of the infrastructure. IUB was commissioned to draw up the FTTH concept in EnBAG's area of responsibility, so that EnBAG can provide its cooperation services vis-à-vis Swisscom (Switzerland) Ltd. in a proper and timely manner. The concept is based on the requirement that the FTTH expansion should generate synergies with the upcoming low-voltage renovations of EnBAG.
