Sursee power plant: completion of construction work

The construction work to restore fish migration at the Sursee power plant on the Suhre river is almost complete. We planned and built a new round basin fish pass for the fish ascent. The fish descent is ensured by a horizontal fish ladder and a bypass. To improve fish protection, a rubber dam with a contour membrane was used for the first time. We are looking forward to the commissioning in January 2025 and are excited to see the results of the impact assessment.
