A new step forward for the Chamblioux cover: the public consultation on the future 1,255-metre covered cutting has been launched. This ambitious and challenging project, led by the Federal Roads Office (OFROU) and the Canton of Fribourg, involves the construction of the covered cutting, the demolition of the Chassotte underpass and the construction of ancillary facilities (technical centres, retention basin, fire protection systems), whilst maintaining the A12 as a dual carriageway.
