APV Sidenplangg AG is realising the construction of the first alpine photovoltaic plant in Central Switzerland in the Sidenplangg area in the municipality of Spiringen. Around 2,300 panels with a total of 18,500 solar modules will be installed on an area of 10.7 hectares. This will enable 12.5 GWh of electricity to be produced annually - equivalent to the consumption of around 2,600 households. Construction of the complex energy project began in May 2025.
