The Alpnachersee south shore revitalisation project wins the Engineering Biology Prize - Waters 2025!
This year's engineering prize focussed on the sustainable development of lake shores. This ecological enhancement was also the aim of the revitalisation measures along the southern shore of Lake Alpnach. The creation of shallow water zones and fen areas was central to the estuary bay sub-project. According to initial observations, the measures have fulfilled their purpose and biodiversity has already been increased.
