Thalwil relief tunnel breakthrough

The breakthrough has been made! After a journey of almost 2 km from the Sihl valley towards Lake Zurich, the TBM reached its destination in Thalwil today. 
It was ceremoniously welcomed in the tube of the counter drive. Our project team congratulates the miners on the smooth advance and the joy of a job well done.
