On the Schmittelibach in the municipality of Wolhusen, construction work to create access to the bedload trap and to upgrade it has been completed. With the completion of the work, the bedload trap is now easily accessible by suitable means for maintenance or intervention.
The photographs taken before and after the rock cutting along the access road, as well as the changes to the debris barrier, clearly illustrate the impact of the work carried out last year.
