Morges Station Bridge

Tuesday, 30. June 2026

After more than 60 years, the Morges motorway bridge is getting a new lease of life.

The renovation project for the Pont de la Gare in Morges aims to bring about a lasting improvement in user safety and comfort, through the creation of a hard shoulder in both directions and the upgrading of the parapets to meet current standards.

Following an initial phase of work carried out beneath the structure, work is now continuing on the bridges in three successive stages. Traffic management has been carefully planned to maintain traffic flow whilst minimising disruption to road users and local residents.

The photos show the first phase, involving the demolition of the existing kerbs and the central reinforcement of both bridges.

Many thanks to the OFROU and BAMO for their trust, as well as to all the partners involved in this project.
